Federal Transformers and Switchgears LLC (FTS) is a distinguished Omani manufacturing unit located in the Rusayl Industrial Area of Muscat. As a subsidiary of the Zubair Corporation's Federal Electric group, FTS maintains ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, signaling our commitment to excellence, quality, safety and occupational health.
At FTS, the team engineer, design, develop, and manufacture top-tier power and distribution transformers. Our customer base extends across Oman and the wider GCC region, serving the ever-evolving and increasingly complex electric power distribution sector.
Our product offerings adhere rigorously to both national and international standards, including IEC-60076, IEC-60076-11, IEC-62271, IEEE C57, and BS-171, setting a solid standard for quality and performance. Within our recently constructed cutting-edge, dust free manufacturing plant, FTS designs & produces pristine quality products with meticulous precision.
Our transformer blueprints are the result of fully computerized techniques, while CAD software breathes life into intricate 2D and 3D designs. Rigorous analysis using iterative computer programs guarantees that our designs meet all the stringent standards which have subsequently been subjected to comprehensive type testing, conducted by independent laboratories in Europe.

The plant has a dust free climate controlled atmosphere, employing state of the art technology. Transformer designs are developed using fully computerized techniques with expertise engineers and drawings are prepared using Auto CAD (2D) / Inventor(3D) software.
FTS now is manufacturing and supplying transformers to all Government sectors, utility companies & oil and Gas companies.
